KUWAIT: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced that the Commercial Control Department will conduct an inspection tour of the perfume exhibition. This initiative aims to ensure compliance with laws and regulations prohibiting the marketing and promotion of goods and services outside designated areas, such as shops and display outlets (booths).

This enforcement is per Resolution No. 198 of 2024. The primary goal of these inspections is to protect consumers from potential harassment arising from promotional activities conducted outside the legal framework. The Ministry emphasizes that this decision is intended to ensure that sales and promotional operations are executed professionally, without causing inconvenience or undue pressure on consumers during their visits to booths and stores.
