KUWAIT: The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) is continuing to upgrade its electronic services related to residency address changes for expats, in preparation for reactivating the service online through the government’s "Sahel" application.
Sources stated that PACI has encouraged expatriates wishing to update their residential addresses to book appointments in advance via the official appointment booking platform. This allows applicants to visit PACI centers and submit their requests directly to designated staff.
The temporary suspension of the online address change service via the "Sahel" app is due to ongoing system development. However, the sources confirmed that efforts are underway to resume the service soon through both the official website and the "Sahel" application.
Currently, PACI is receiving applicants at four service centers. The main headquarters operates during evening hours from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., while the Jahra and Ahmadi branches are open in the morning from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Liberation Tower Center serves applicants during both morning and evening hours.
