کویت (محمد عرفان شفیق) میں شدید طوفانی بارش کا سلسلہ رات گئے سے علی الصبح تک بلا تعطل جاری رہا۔ شدید بارش سے نظام زندگی بری طرح متاثر ہوا ہے جسکے باعث تمام تعلیمی اداروں اور سرکاری دفاتر میں ہنگامی طور پر تعطیل کا اعلان کر دیا گیا۔ بارش کے باعث پروازوں کا شیڈول بھی متاثر ہوا۔ بارش کے رکنے تک کویت آنے والی تمام پروازوں کا رخ بحرین کی جانب موڑ دیا گیا۔ وزارت داخلہ، شہری دفاع اور پولیس کے ساتھ نوجوان بھی نکاسی آب کے لیے پرزور محنت کر رہے ہیں تاہم تمام بڑی شاہراوں کو پانی جمع ہونے کے باعث ٹریفک کے لیے بند کر دیا گیا ہے۔ سرکاری ٹیلیویڑن اور ریڈیوعوام کو باخبر رکھنے کے لئے وقفے وقفے سے آگاہ کر رہے ہیں۔

Meanwhile Kuwait Airways has announced that all scheduled flights to and from Kuwait International Airport will continue as scheduled and there are will be no cancelations.
Kuwait have witnessed heavy rains in the past two days, which lead to heavy flooding across various areas of Kuwait.
Interior Ministry in a statement issued last night has said that they are holding rescue operations in the flooded areas, evacuating people and children from buildings, closing roads and directing traffic away from flooded highways, and underpasses.
